This is the month we bring you a resident perspective as we reflect back on what Chatham Park was, where it has been, and where it will be. The community is the ideal place to live, learn, play and work. Check out Cassie Hill’s Q&A to learn more about her and her family’s experiences in Chatham Park.
Q What prompted your decision to move to Chatham Park initially?
A We lived in Northern Virginia at the time of the pandemic, and we decided to be closer to our family. We decided to move because my husband could work anywhere. We originally thought we would move to the neighborhood where our family lives. However, they did not have what we wanted, so my sibling told me about Chatham Park, a community that she had heard of. We went to the community the same day, and fell in love instantly with the house and the plans for the area. We made an immediate offer! What builder did you choose to build your Chatham Park home? We would choose the same builder and plan again. The pool was a must-have for me and my family. They also love the splash pad and playground. Knight Farm Community Park has become a part of our daily lives, whether we are meeting friends or letting off some steam after school. It is a great place to gather with family and friends. We love being able to use the trails for exercise and to ride our bikes.
Q How would you describe the experience of raising a child in Chatham Park
A This is a great neighborhood for families! We can walk to the pool, playground, and friends’ house. We love to spend the weekends at Chatham Park and the surrounding areas.
A We enjoy exploring the weekend activities in the area, such as the local playgrounds, MOSAIC at Chatham Park concerts, and the various kids museums. I own FIT4MOM Chapel Hill, so we do a lot of family exercise classes on weekends. How has it been for you and your family to watch the community grow in Chatham Park? What are you looking forward to in the future? It’s fun to meet new neighbors and get to know their families. We’re excited to watch Chatham Park grow over the coming years. We’re looking forward to all the new businesses and restaurants moving into the MOSAIC.
