Raleigh, N.C. — A Realtor.com survey ranks the 27616 ZIP code in northeast Raleigh one of the “hottest” in the country.
Houses in that ZIP code, which encompasses Triangle Town Center and Wake Technical Community College’s northern campus, spend an average of five days on the market, 10 days less than the Raleigh area as a whole, according to Realtor.com.
The areas that made the “hot list” were among the most viewed on the website and have homes with 110 more square feet than the average home listed in the U.S.
The 27616 area was praised for its proximity to downtown Raleigh and its luxury homes that attract buyers from New York who want more space. The area is also close to major employers and local tech companies, the post noted.

The planned 5401 North community was also mentioned, which, when finished, will be a mix of homes, office and retail space.
According to Realtor.com, 67% of residents in the ZIP code are homeowners, and the median listing price in the area is $319,000.
