A house in Durham that sold for $1.9 million tops the list of the most expensive real estate sales in Durham County in the past week.

In total, 90 real estate sales were recorded in the area during the last week, with an average price of $408,578. The average price per square foot ended up at $230.

The prices in the list below concern real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of August 22, even if the property may have been sold earlier.

  • $1.9 million, single-family home in the 4000 block of Bristol Road

    The property in the 4000 block of Bristol Road in Durham has new owners. The price was $1,875,000. The house was built in 1957 and has a living area of 4,992 square feet. The price per square foot is $376.

  • $1.3 million, single-family house in the 4400 block of Pleasant Green Road

    The sale of the detached house in the 4400 block of Pleasant Green Road, Durham, has been finalized. The price was $1,300,000, and the new owners took over the house in June. The house was built in 2016 and has a living area of 1,768 square feet. The price per square foot was $735.

  • $910,000, detached house in the 4700 block of Taproot Lane

    The property in the 2500 block of Kestrel Heights Court in Durham has new owners. The price was $602,500. The house was built in 2016 and has a living area of 2,861 square feet. The price per square foot is $211.
